Word Art Wednesday: God's Word is Forever (Free Digi Stamps)

You found me!  I'm delighted!  Getting accustomed to my new blog is still an adjustment for me so I'm sure it is for you.  I was so pleased though to have 150 visitors in one day last week!  I hope each and every one will be blessed by something you see or read here.

Today's post is for my DT Sample for this week's Word Art Wednesday challenge.  As always we have a beautiful scripture that is free for the taking.  We hope you'll use it to bless someone, and please consider linking your creation to our challenge blog.  You'll find wonderful inspiration there even if you don't have the time to craft this week.

Our scripture for this week:

My Sample:

One of the most amazing truths about God's Word is that it will last forever.  God makes that promise and I believe that it is true.  I've heard so many intriguing stories of Bibles being smuggled where they are forbidden.  God's Word will make its way to His people.  He never abandons them and never leaves them without hope.  Somehow even a fragment will be enough.  I'm so grateful we still have the freedom here in the USA to have our Bibles.  While our freedoms are becoming more and more limted, we can still access them for our personal study and for sharing His story.

To create this card I dug through my stash of papers to find rich, warm tones that would coordinate with the wreath in Autumn Blessings, available in my store, Daydream Designs.  I printed out two identical versions so I could cut out a portion at the bottom to pop up for dimension.  I recolored the scripture and sized it to fit in the first wreath, which is the first image layer.  I cut the wreath out and popped the whole thing up then added the bottom leaves/acorns, also popped up.  I just sponged a little for texture and color blends.

Each day the leaves turn just a little more toward their rainbows of rust, yellow, oranges and deep reds.  The changing leaves always remind me that what we see is temporal and just like the grass, flowers and leaves on trees fade and fall away, so too will all things earthly.  These earthly bodies we now inhabit are not our final homes.  We are created to be eternal, and those who follow after the Word of God, adhering to His principles and accepting His way of salvation, will spend that eternity with Him.  That's a promise.  God's Word is both true and eternal...it will stand forever!

This is absolutely stunning! I Adore this wreath and how you added the sentiment inside. Gorgeous fall papers too. Everything about this card is just lovely.

It broke my heart to read 'while our freedoms have become more and more limited' It is true and it is hard and scary at times but our focus is and should be on Him. This is a sign of His return. We just need to be ready and reach out to as many as we can!

Thank you for all you share and do.

Blessings and hugs,
Heather
