Tuesday Morning Sketches

Daydream Designs is beginning to sponsor a number of challenge blogs and we are delighted to sponsor Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Several of my designers showcased projects for last week's challenge that we sponsored.  I intended to participate, but life took a different turn for me and I didn't get my sample up in time.  But I made a couple using the sketch and wanted to still share them here.

I created two samples modifying the sketch slightly.

Every year I need a few extra masculine Christmas cards, and it's hard to find something in my stash that is just right.  So I created the Winter Woodland Deer Set, that is perfect for masculine cards.  It can be used anytime of year.

I created it to coordinate with papers we already have in the store. The Man of Mine paper pack is featured on this card.    These papers remind me of a flannel shirt that my dad used to wear when he went hunting.  He never did deer hunt...my younger sister wouldn't allow it!  She had seen the movie Bambi and that made deer hunting impossible for my dad.

I also modified this card slightly from the original sketch.  But it's close enough to count in my mind at least.  I love winter themed stamps sets and papers.  Winterscapes are so beautiful to me...as long as I don't have to drive in them!

For this card I used an image from the Christmas Wonder Composite Set.  Really it can be used all winter long.  It coordinates with the Winter Wonderland papers, which I also used here.  Both go with an entire wintery wonderful ensemble.

We are so grateful to the Tuesday Morning Sketch folks for allowing us to sponsor their fun challenges.  Watch our Daydream Designs blog for all our upcoming sponsorships so you can be directed to the challenge blogs to win free sets from Daydream Designs.
